Misasa Onsen is one of the world's largest radium hot springs. Many people visit it for healing and recuperation.
Blessed with produce from the sea and mountains, this region also offers a colorful array of seasonal dishes.
Surrounded by beautiful scenery created by culture and nature that have developed over the course of history,
it also boasts numerous sightseeing spots. Please come visit Misasa Onsen's Misasakan.
The ryokan is home to a natural hot spring whose waters freely flow straight from the source. It boasts one of the largest amounts of hot water in Misasa, with hot spring water luxuriously overflowing from 12 baths.
Covering more than 3,300㎡, the Japanese Garden Bath is divided into two zones: "Niwa no Yu," surrounded by a tranquil garden, and "Taki no Yu," surrounding a waterfall fed straight from the hot spring source. They swap between being the men's and women's baths in the morning and evening, so everyone can enjoy the atmospheres of both.
[Spring quality] The spring contains radioactive sodium chloride
[Good for] Rheumatic disease, gout, hypertension, and arteriosclerosis
The most enjoyable part of your trip will be savoring the region's unique delicacies. We go to great lengths to provide cuisine that fully exploits the season's best ingredients, and fresh seafood caught in the Sea of Japan that offers favorite winter flavors of Tottori Prefecture. These include delights such as matsuba snow crab, mosa shrimp, and blackthroat seaperch. Relax and enjoy dishes with colors for every season.
From rooms that look out onto the Mitoku River, the clear waters flowing by beyond the windows evoke a relaxing flow of time. From rooms on the garden side, a Japanese garden creates a view that changes with the seasons.
We have a wide range of room types, including ones with an open-air bath, Japanese-style ones with twin beds, and Western-style ones.
We run a free shuttle bus service from JR Kurayoshi Station.
